This is one of the only pieces I’ve ever done using watercolour pencils. This owl is “stooping”, a technique used to catch their prey. After spotting a small bird or mammal, the owl will dive nearly straight down, pulling in its wings to increase speed.

This 8x10” print comes unframed, and is packaged in a compostable cellophane bag.
